Q: WHAT MAKES YOUR WORK DIFFERENT FROM OTHER PHOTOGRAPHERS’ WORK?

A: I take all of my photos in intimate, relaxed settings and try to use natural lighting as often as possible. My sessions are candid & fun!
 

Q: WILL WE GET THE PRINT RELEASE TO OUR PHOTOS?

A: Yes! Upon receiving your images, you will also get a full print release.
 

Q: HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHERS WILL BE THERE AT OUR WEDDING?

A: Most of my wedding collections come with one photographer, although you can always add on a second photographer for an additional cost.

Q: What should we WEAR for our portrait session?

A: Wear something that makes you feel comfortable and confident. light colors with patterns, bold colors and accessories photograph really well. Feel free to get creative with your wardrobe.

Q: what locations do you use for portrait sessions?

A: Maui offers many beautiful locations for portrait sessions. The beaches on all sides of the island; Kihei, Wailea, Makena, North Shore Paia and the West side are great locations for early morning and sunset photo sessions. Upcountry Maui is beautiful for forests, views and greenery; great locations for little ones and usually good any time of the day depending on the weather. Your home is also a great family photo shoot location; some of the most treasured photos are often the candid ones in your home where you feel relaxed and comfortable.

Q: DO YOU HAVE A LIST OF PREFERRED VENDORS TO USE?

A: I sure do! From wedding coordinators to florists and caterers, I have worked with some of the most talented in the industry and would be happy to share their information with you! 

Q: What happens after our portrait session?

A: I wholeheartedly want to give my clients the very best experience I can, and deliver their images quickly and efficiently. From each portrait session I give my clients a password protected online viewing gallery to share with family and friends. You will also receive a link to download all the high resolution jpeg images with full reprinting rights.

Q: DO I HAVE TO ORDER PRINTS THROUGH YOU?

A: I highly recommend ordering prints through our professional vendors, but it is not required. The difference in quality is huge when it comes to ordering through a professional lab, so I encourage clients to let me help with prints! I also offer some beautiful fine art products that compliment your wedding or portrait session perfectly.

Q: WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?

A: I use all of the latest canon equipment. I always carry the 5DS, the mark ii, 50 mm lens, 35 mm lens, & the 20 mm lens, among other items. All of my cameras and lenses have a backup in the rare event that anything should happen to one of our pieces.  All photos are shot in the RAW file format then carefully edited, optimized and enhanced.

Q: ARE THE COUPLES ON YOUR SITE MODELS?

A: Haha! While I am lucky enough to work with gorgeous couples, the images shown on my site and blog are of regular, paying clients. 

Q: HOW DO WE RESERVE OUR WEDDING DATE?

A: 25% deposit and signed contract is required in order to get your wedding date on the calendar. Two weeks prior to your wedding, the remainder of the balance is due.

A 20% deposit and signed contract is required to book your portrait date and the balance is due at the beginning or end of your session.
